At the mansion, where shadows did play, A murder took place, on a fateful day. The Lady in red heels, with secrets untold, Was found dead, with a note, that read "I'm cold".

The Lass in Orange gloves, with hands so bright, Said she was gardening, till the morning light. The Missus in yellow scarf, with a smile so wide, Claimed she was reading, by the fireplace inside.

The gentleman in green socks, with steps so neat, Said he was taking a walk, to clear his head to meet. The Mister in Blue necktie, with a face so pale, Said he was working late, without a single fail.

The Miss in indigo shoes, with eyes so bright, Said she was painting, through the endless night. Violet the Mistress, in her coat so fine, Claimed she was sleeping, till the morning's first sign.

But one of them lied, and now they're all in fright.
