Quick critique —I think that sometimes certain parts of a sentence can be separated with a period to make it make sense.

EX:
“Though that was my mistake the dice flew out of his hands.” ❌
“Though that was my mistake. The dice flew out of his hands.” ☑️

Other than that — I’m really interested in seeing where the story’s going. ^-^
