So chapter 1, I consider chapter 1 as one of the most important chapters in a book as it either grabs your readers or send them away. 


We could see how Chail is more decent compared to his other classmates but what is lacking is his own thoughts. There are also no dialogues here. When it comes to the characters, hone your skills on making them more alive to the reader and not merely a fictional character. Majority of the readers would remember the characters and would gradually forget the plot once they finish your book. Make sure that your characters make an impact to you and to those who would read your creation.
