Jokes aside, I enjoyed this. The twist at the end was nice. There were some past and present tense inconsistencies, but only having one day to write this, that's not a big issue. I appreciated the direction you chose for the ending. It made the story avoid being too cliche. Good job! :)

Definitely gave me the chills. He's inside a dream that’s inside a dream that’s not a dream but a prophecy yet to be fulfilled. Sounds like my dreams. I get deja vu while sleeping, don’t ask.
