The corners of his mouth were turned up in the slightest of smiles, but the ghosts of a million teenagers clouded his brow. His brother may have been safe, but all of his thoughts were now centered on her, the girl in a stranger's bathroom. Infinity was pinned between the sink and the boy, her neck trickling blood. Finally, the wound was clean, revealing a metal shard embedded in her skin. He gently pried it out and quickly pressed the washcloth to the sudden gush of blood.
