My little world started to reveal itself to me as one event after another began to unfold before me. From family christmas dinners, to broken hearts caused by wondering, and glass-eyes present from the salty dew-drops of sadness. Where are you supposed to seek safety when your only amour has been shattered away into the past like the unseeable valleys being swallowed by the misty mountain tops on a winters day?
A young child and a broken soul combine to a life of childhood misery. When your only example of strength is defeated by the cruel creations of humanity itself, it is fact that everything will change.
Lights; smoke; and an echoing crash, sparing the world of two more lives, leaving only a defenceless mortal to provide proof of the lost souls. An identity is lost as the child begins walking the road of life as only another object of existience, after being stripped of all significance.
Childrens laughter and childrens crying blankets the tall dark building, each individual lost in understanding as to who they were. The transparent world of two possible lives are surfaced, as a life of lovingness and family is lost, and a routine of being 'just another mouth to feed' is discovered.
Age does not define these events, as in a predicament so unpredictable known as life itself, there is no additional mercy provided for a child of two years old, or a body which has breathed the air of this Earth for more years than the fingers grown on a human body. This situation will undeniably result in a minimum of one broken and lost soul.
