            I pulled the gun back toward me and cocked it again.

            I brought the target into the center of the scope and take a deep breath.

            Bang! Ding.

            I walked up to inspect the target. Only an inch off the bull’s eye. Definitely progress.

            “Enoch!” my dad leaned out of our back door. “Teen activity in thirty minutes!”

            I turned around and gave him a thumbs-up before collecting my things.

             Not that I really want to go to a teen activity.

            But the food is pretty good.
