Everlasting Hatred

Haha, funny joke

Now you've got everyone laughing

You permanently changed the way I view myself

But now I'm in deep thought

Hostile toward myself

Nit picking at all my flaws

My breathing hitches

As my chest begins to rise and fall

Tears well in my dull eyes

"It was just a joke"

"Stop being so sensitive"

But now I'm insecure

And care what people think

This feeling is oh so familiar

The feeling of not being enough

Tons eyes filled with judgemental pity filled glares

"Do they all think of me like you do?"

The voice in my head is no help

As I make up scenarios while I cry myself to sleep
