With no prejudice. The heavy wall of flames from Julius's explosion, which came from within his chest, beat down on both Friends and foes on both sides of the battlefield.
All of a sudden. The flames begin to shrink before their eyes.
Then both sides begin to turn down their protective force fields and almost all participants on the battlefield have the same question, "What the hell caused that!?"
As the flames continue to shrink away. All participants of this fight stare in horror at the burning aftermath of the explosion. They also see the aiutu droids and the advanced tank-like houses around the battlefield putting out the fires. Then, the heroes from Edenn, the soldiers from Elias's sanctuary cities, and the Pirates who live within the nation are all ambushed by surviving golden dragon battle droids! Only this time, the battle droids are all on fire from the explosion caused by Julius. The droids instantly reach their targets, quickly bringing everyone back to reality. And reminding them, there is still a fight they have to finish. Realizing this, all participants in this fight quickly defend themselves using their weapons and tactics.
~{From another side of the battlefield}~
The floors of new Tortuga are littered with demolished battle droids. Their metal bodies still enflamed from Julius's explosion. A fallen dragon reaches out towards a battle droid who remains standing on its feet. Only for that fallen droid to be kicked in the face and its head split.
The droid smashing the defeated golden dragon is none other than Supremeo. The aiutu charges up energy from his newly acquired sun crystals then unleashes it at the fallen dragon. Then simply watches as powerful beams of energy burn the fallen battle droid into a crisp.
Behind Supremeo, War Hawk launches his 1,000-bladed feathers off his back and pierces the blades into 100s of Golden dragons. This attack takes away any remaining signs of life from the enemy droids. As soon as War Hawk's attack is finished the bladed feathers all fly back to War Hawk and reattach themselves to his back. War Hawk then turns to Supremeo.
Supremeo tells War Hawk, "We've conquered the burning Dragons. But that doesn't explain what that explosion was. You've been quiet ever since we weathered the explosion's storm. If another attack like that happens, I'm sure our protective measures won't be able to withstand the weight of another heavy attack like that! Do you have any idea what caused that?"
War Hawk looks to Supremeo, then to the battle in front of him. As he stares at the madness before him. He answers Supremeo by telling him, "I didn't think Julius would do it this way, but he did. He started the steps in executing his 'grand explosion plan'. There were two ways he was going to do it. 1, with him watching it all blow up in flames. Or 2, taking himself out to trigger the second explosion."
Realizing what that means, a look of shock is on Supremeo's face. He asks War Hawk, "Julius is dead?" War Hawk answers, "Yes." For a moment, Supremeo dwells on the answer he hears from War Hawk, and for a moment, a look of sadness is seen on Supremeo's face. The moment is cut short when Supremeo remembers there's a closing act after Julius's life-ending explosion.
He looks toward War Hawk and asks, "When does the countdown for this grand explosion start?" War Hawk answers Supremeo telling him, "Any moment now. The sun crystals I stole from you will start to glow bright. Then all the jets on my legs will stop working, and the wings on my back will stop working as well. Once I'm grounded that's when the time starts for the bomb within my body. The detonation time is 5 minutes. But I guess if there's anything good that comes out of this, it's that the bomb's countdown can be paused under one condition."
Supremeo tells War Hawk, "Well that's good to hear. What can we do to pause the detonation? Well just do that until we can get the bomb out of your body."
War Hawk tells Supremeo, "Well, I'm glad that's how you feel, Supremeo, because the only thing that can pause this bomb from blowing up is physical combat, and my opponent making me execute my skills at full force. Meaning if I slow down at any moment the countdown will continue." With a confused look on his face, Supremeo says, "Are you serious?"
War Hawk replies, "Absolutely. My purpose of living is in the name Julius gave me when I was created. Unlike your creator, A War Hawk doesn't believe in diplomatic solutions. They prefer more forceful and aggressive ways to achieve their side's goals. And that's what I've been doing ever since my creation. It is forcing Julius's dreams of his world on people... While doing this I've been waiting for the right opponent to stop me. Almost every warrior who wanted to avenge my invasion of their lands has fallen. The ones who haven't are all here. Still clinging to that thread of hope that they'll be the ones to avenge their dead comrades. But we both know none of those people have a chance, right Supremeo? Elias, the real Elias made you for situations like me. I always told him. He was the best of us, the 4 heroes of the Legends Trail. As you know, he'd immediately turn my compliments down by saying guys like me and Sullivan were the better fighters. And also Diana was a better archaeologist. But Elias was by far the better protector of humanity. Fighters like me and Sullivan always needed to be pointed somewhere for the next mission. Diana, before us, was always on her own exploring. But for Elias. His life's work has always been, for the progression of life, for the human race. And nothing else. This is why I believe you're the right droid for the job Supremeo. I always thought Elias could train himself up to defeat me. Then, after training with Sullivan and I in Edenn's shadow village, he did exactly what I thought he could do, in a handful of sparring matches. He beat me 4 out of 7 times, and Sullivan 2 out of 3 times. The sharpest mind of our race learned from the sharpest minds of physical combat and became humanity's greatest protector for a generation."
War Hawk's Sun Crystals begin to glow bright, signaling that the countdown of Julius's final bomb has started. War Hawk then says to Supremeo, "Elias would say if he's got to die an early death. He'd prefer to go out helping his fellow man. And that's exactly how he left this world. But when I was asked the question. Do you know what I said?"
Supremeo replies, "Yes. You said, if you'd be going out. You hope it would be in a blaze of glory. In a good fight."
From behind the War Hawk helmet, Victor grins slightly at the shared memory Elias installed into Supremeo. Then he says to the aiutu, "Yes! Wow amazing. How you can pull up the real Elias's memories so quickly as if you lived them yourself...So what do you say, Supremeo? Help out a friend with one final gesture, and give me my last wish of a good fight?"
There is a serious look on Supremeo's face. And a sense of duty in his eyes. Then what Supremeo does next surprises War Hawk. He turns to War Hawk then instantly the surrounding area is lit up from the shiny glimmer of Supremeo's Sun crystals.
Seeing this now means Supremeo has accepted his challenge, and War Hawk just watches along. Next Supremeo's body appears to radiate a constant blue flame with a golden yellow color outlining its body.
This turn of events surprises War Hawk. Then he can hear Supremeo talking to him. The aiutu says to War Hawk, "I still won't kill you, Victor. But I can give you that good fight you want!"
War Hawk draws his claws and ignites them.
Supremeo tells War Hawk, "Victor. You'll get a sense of pride in knowing this. You'll be the first opponent to face me in Meteor Mode, with my improved Sun Crystals and advanced body. Just like you said earlier with me being the perfect opponent. I believe the same thing for you. There's no one else who can push me to my limits!"
The two battle droids charge towards each other with assistance from their tech. The rockets in Supremeo's boots and jetpack, which Sylvia created, help Supremeo get to his target quicker.
The aiutu lands a lightning-fast punch on War Hawk's face. The connecting punch comes in like a flying comet crashing into its target. Then Supremeo quickly lands another punch.
There are flames produced from Supremo's sun crystals in his right and left hands. They explode once the inekium fists strike War Hawk's face which temporarily blinds him for a few seconds and knocks War Hawk off balance. The ringing of the clashing metals echoes through the battlefield.
Once War Hawk regains his footing and the flames from Supremeo's punches clear from his vision, War Hawk is surprised to see Supremeo has flown back a long distance away from him. However, he also notices a fully charged energy blast from his arm cannon.
In his normal state, Supremeo's cannon attack can blow a hole through a warship. But in Meteor mode, his Arm Cannon is now referred to as a star cannon. That's because in this state, his arm cannon can now break through almost anything and turn its target into dust.
Luckily for War Hawk. He isn't your common droid that could be melted down. He's made from the rarest metals in the universe. And molded by some of the sharpest minds in humanity.
Knowing this, Supremeo still lets the shot go off from his star cannon. As the powerful blast of energy streams out of Supremeo's weapon, War Hawk quickly puts his talons in the way of the blast. And instead of War Hawk's hand shattering and turning into dust. Both energies combine, adding more power to War Hawk's attack. A look of frustration shows on Supremeo's face.
Then Supremeo says to War Hawk, "I know you're laughing to yourself underneath that helmet Victor. Thinking that you've done something. If the star cannon won't work. I'll just stick to more close-range attacks."
Supremeo withdraws the star cannon and flies from behind the energy of his attack. Then while War Hawk was busy absorbing the energy from the star cannon attack. Supremeo appears on the side of War Hawk. War Hawk is shocked and is instantly struck across the face with another sun crystal energy charged inekium fist.
Bewildered by the attack. War Hawk doesn't realize Supremeo has brought his star cannon out again! Then he hears Supremeo say, "If a charged blast won't work on you. How about a rapid fire of plasma bullets at close range!"
With the Star Cannon aimed at War Hawk's abdominal area, Supremeo pulls the trigger on his Star Cannon 20 times. With every shot from his star cannon, sparks and smoke build up from the targeted area.
Supremeo attempts for another shot aimed at War Hawk's mid section but pulls back at the last second, because through the smoke from his attacks Supremeo receives a warning from his panoptes lenses in his eyes telling him War Hawk is no longer stunned and is going to strike with an attack powerful enough to disarm him and leave him wide open for a deadly shot.
And just like the warning told him, War Hawk strikes! War Hawk goes for Supremeo's arm to take out his Star Cannon, but Supremeo dodges the blow. Another one follows and War Hawk misses. Supremeo balls his fists up after calling back his star cannon into his armored gauntlet and surprises his opponent when he disarms himself!
While War Hawk misses another strike to Supremeo's arms the aiutu shoots them off his body at the last second. Making War Hawk's Talons hit nothing but air. As War Hawk misses, Supremeo lands a strike of his own. It's a powerful headbutt aimed at War Hawk's chin. Once it connects, the banging sound of inekium hitting each other rings through the battlefield of New Tortuga.
Supremeo jumps back. War Hawk now angrily steps forward only to be stopped by Supremeo's flying arms. They come in fast like torpedoes aimed at War Hawk's head. Only to be stopped instantly when they are grabbed by War Hawk's talons.
However, both arms open their hands, showing the palms of Supremeo's hands toward War Hawk's face, and instantly shoot off two fireballs of energy.
This attack causes War Hawk to let go of Supremeo's arms as he was sent back reeling from the sudden blows. The arms fly back to Supremeo and reattach themselves to the aiutu.
As the smoke from Supremeo's attacks clears the scene. Supremeo can hear nothing but War Hawk breathing heavily from behind the clearing smoke. Then he hears War Hawk talk. He says to Supremeo, "My sensors are informing me that the malefic intent of your attacks is genuine. Finally... Through all this death I've caused, the warrior in me was still wondering if I'd ever see another opponent who could push me to my ceiling. I should have known it was always gonna be Elias, or a creation of his with all his memories."
War Hawk draws his claws and ignites the flames for his talons. Supremeo balls his fists up and ignites the energy from the sun crystals in his hands. As they both stare down their opponents, Supremeo is surprised because out of nowhere all of War Hawk's 1,000 zhekumium-bladed feathers shoot off into the sky. Then they scatter. Supremeo thinks about attacking, then notices a sudden change to the bladed feathers. The flame to their rocket-propelled engines all go out at once, causing the bladed feathers to crash back down to the battlefield and impale the ground both droids stand on.
War Hawk is the first to speak. He says to Supremeo, "I don't know how you think you're going to keep this as just a fight old friend. As I said time and time again. You're going to have to kill me to end this. So let's continue."
After his statement, War Hawk charges toward Supremeo, and Supremeo does the same. Once both droids collide War Hawk grabs Supremeo's arm and Supremeo lands a punch with his other fist while War Hawk slashes with his free hand before it's caught by Supremeo. Then, the energy being expelled from both droids' Sun crystals creates a towering inferno for all sides of the battle to see.
It's as if it were a signal to both sides that their biggest guns were now fighting against each other in an all-out finale.
