The Sea of Lost Souls sparkled in the full moonlight as the restless ghosts, who were permanently chained to the sea, wailed silently in the tranquil peace. It was the Moon Jelly Festival, where Moon Jellies migrate to the Earth for only 2 weeks when the volcanoes on the Moon erupt annually. It was a perfect day to relax.
Or a perfect day to murder.
The tranquil peace was shattered when a dark-hooded figure pushed the Prince of Corvus into the Sea.
He screamed, water invading his throat, thrashing against the current that tried to drag him downstream to the man-eating plants that liquidize your brain with their tentacle-like feelers and suck it out.
Caspru, the Prince of Corvus, was close to being the next victim of the Sea of Lost Souls. He tried to pull his dagger out of the strap under his pants but the current swept it away with what sounded like a laugh. The tentacles inched their way up his strong, toned thighs, desperate for food they'd craved for weeks. Caspru choked on salty, freezing water, his vision turning black at the edges. The plants winded themselves up his neck, Caspru 10 seconds away from drowning when the plants suddenly withdrew their feelers, inches from his brain. A chunk from the root of the plant floated up to the surface. The plant quivered angrily and launched its sharp points towards Caspru, who, by this time, was unable to move. A flash of silver slashed the arms off the plant, stabbing straight through the heart of it. The plant shook, wailing in the water. A pair of long, lean hands grabbed a handful of Caspru's doublet, pulling his limp body up above the surface.
The moonlight sparkled beautifully on Caspru's face, showing his supernatural beauty in him. The cloaked figure laid him down gently on the stones as Caspru took his last breath before falling unconscious.120Please respect copyright.ＰＥＮＡＮＡefugXZyrPR
