Of humans living on Earth but free

Taking care of Nature’s trees

And buzzing industrially like bees

Setting fair and fun competition

No time limit, certainly no elimination

Yet my friend tore off my wings

Who saw me as an unscalable building

His eyes that found solace in cheating

Taking my everything--my things, my winnings

But what can I do now than to gaze up?

As my wingless immortal body slowly became mortal

Spinning and spinnin’

Then I wake in a pub

Drunk much, so much so that it I am seeing spirals

And a wallet without a dime nor time

This mortal body is a pain in the ass

Before the bartender

Walking, and wandering

My back aching and worsening

Not to mention that I am mortal

That I am not immortal,

And actually decaying, dying

Until, I heard about this place—a massage

Took my willy time in selling newspapers

For a ticket and a passage in his garage

To a man who has manners

All I want is a massage, the lowest price too

Yet his kind eyes found pity
