Being chosen as a recipient to come enjoy the waters of the world famous 'Black Lagoon' was a once in a lifetime thing. People went crazy for the chance to be invited. They would beg,scramble or drop boatloads of money into any avenue they could think would yield a shiny golden ticket. It was never quite understood how to the selection 

Some people found an embossed letter in their mailbox, others had it delivered in a fancy envelope by a well dressed courier or civil servant.

Niamh and her friends weren’t sure whether they were lucky or not once they reached those ‘blessed shores’.
