In the homeland of their tribe, brothers Venamo and Yilka do their best help their family that has shrunk considerably in the past few years. Venamo is the golden boy of the whole village, a skilled swordsman, a sharp-sensed hunter and a generous man. And Yilka tries his best. Their people have a far fetched dream of freeing their tribe brothers who are stuck on the other side of the border with their land occupied by the conquering Kingdom of Greater Vastusar. But only a dream it remains, since the forces of Vastusar are simply too powerful to fight. But luck and fate can lead a respected prodigy, an underachiever, an outcast and an unprepared girl on a path that gives them just enough hope to maybe put up a fight, and a chance to learn the true gravity of the Kingdom's intentions in the created world's divinely designed hierarchy.
