Freedom is what I need.
When people vist NYC,they always see me. I mean I'm a huge greenish blue statue holding up a torch
I don't even know why I was created. It's so boring to just see the same things over and over again. The people constantly striking me with their blinding flashing lights.
What is my purpose? To stand and look pretty?
Well it's not like I could just walk away. And believe me I've thought about it.
Im mounted here forever. Atleast until I rot away.
I've seen many things happen in my lifetime. From seeing the great depression and both world wars, I have quite alot of stories to tell.
But who would listen? The birds? Not the humans.
I am stuck, forever and ever.
I smile. My smile hurts after decade's of doing the same pose.
"I wish I could be Lady Liberty, she's so free" they all say.
If im so free, then how are you the ones being able to talk? Able to walk, able to live.
I just wanna live.
