“Oh Sadie, do I have two?” I ask with my sad puppy eyes. “You know how much I hate blind dates. Besides, I never agreed to this, you all just set us up! I don’t even know who I am set up with!!” I complain as she finishes helping with my makeup.
“It’s a blind date! Your not supposed to know!!” Sadie laughs as she turns the chair to face the mirror. “How does it look?”
“Fine.” I cross my eyes and grumpily stair at Sadie through the mirror. I smile to myself as I secretly love the makeup, but that would be too kind to the person forcing me to this blind date.

I clutch the bottom of my dress nervously. I stare at myself through the mirror. Dang, I look good!! I stare at my gorgeous makeup and dark green dress. Sadie did better than I thought. That’s when I see him. My lease favorite person in the entire world. The son of my boss. Henry.
I roll my eyes. What smart girl would ever go out with him. I cross my arms, their natural position. That’s when I see Sadie and her friend. (Sorry, I forgot his name) I wave to her.
“Who am I going on a date with?” I say with as much sass as I can. Out of the corner of my eye, I can see Henry getting closer. I start getting a bit nervous still he takes a sharp right and meets up with a girl coming from the Gucci store next to the restaurant.
“Guys?” I am confused why they are laughing till I see a guy wearing a nice suit with nice shoes and the most random tie I have ever seen. It was a pattern of dogs and cats.
I feel I have seen this guy before, but his name escapes my mind. As he gets closer, I nod my head and try to ask Sadie with my eyes, and she nods. So this is my date for the night.
“Hello! Nice to meet you, you must be Clara! I am Andrew!” Hello said in polite cheeriness. He shakes my hand and smiles warmly. I shake his hand back, and he offers his arm. I take it.
As we enter, we are greeted and seated at a window seat. I stare out at the snow on the ground. How romantic. I think sarcastically.
Andrew smiles at me. “What are you thinking about ordering?” He asks. Ugh! He’s too nice for me to hate on.
“Perhaps the stuffed mushroom cap? I don’t know, I’m not quite sure.” I attempt to smile and not seem like an ungrateful brat. I hold his hands from across the table. “What about you?” I ask quizzically.
“I would think a crab leg? I don’t know either!” He laughs lightly, making me blush. I remove my hands from his when the waiter shows up and takes our order. I scrunch up the hem of my dress from nervousness. I don’t know how to feel really, I have never been on a date before! I know, embarrassing, but I have had more important things to worry about. Which is probably why Sadie wanted me to come in this black me date, I mean YOLO I guess.
As the waiter leaves Andrew smiles at me and pulls out some paper and crayons. “You want to play tick tack toe?” He looks at em nervously. “Of course!” I giggle, what is such a cute guy doing, being nervous when I was a trying ti be bored out of my mind.
”Would you like to go first?” I ask, smiling. I am kind of excited!
“Nah. It’s ladies first!” He smiles at me and hands me a violets crayon. I take the crayon and go in the top left corner. “Your turn!” I giggle a bit. I mean, how often is it to see two grown adults playing tick tack toe?!

“Ha! I beat you two out of three times!!” I smile with glee as I take a bite out of my stuffed mushroom.
