生活於烏魯魯拉地區的魯魯拉是該地最具代表性的生物，數量眾多，體型不大，全身為淡藍色且半透明，沒有固定的外型，其身體由黏糊狀物質所組成。

魯魯拉的性格非常溫和，可自體複製繁殖，以吸收空氣中的營養為生，只要將手伸進魯魯拉黏糊糊的身體裡，魯魯拉就會認定你為主人，並跟著你繼續旅行，且由馴服者的不同，會在某人觸碰到魯魯拉時，瞬間學習該人的語言及生活習慣，使人與魯魯拉之間不會產生隔閡。

此外，魯魯拉為可食用魔物，無需烹煮，只需要在馴服魯魯拉之後跟魯魯拉說肚子餓，魯魯拉就會為你死去，變成可食用型態，據說味道會根據馴服者的喜好而變，但口感類似於果凍，如果想要使口感有變化，可以用火烤至變為深藍色，據說就會符合馴服者想要吃的那樣東西的口感了。
