🎬 Day Four of the Eco Ad Shoot
. STUDIO SET – LATE AFTERNOON
Soft pastel lighting filters across a cozy faux-window. The concept: A warm moment between a couple sharing a single ice cream cone, seated on a love-worn bench. Sweet, natural, photogenic.
Sunny is already in position—legs stretched out, perfectly comfortable, swirling the ice cream cone in one hand like it’s a microphone.
Rhea enters.
And freezes.
> Director (cheerfully): > “Okay, Rhea! You’re gonna sit on Sunny’s lap—super organic, super relaxed. Don’t worry, it’ll look adorable.”
> Rhea (under her breath as she steps forward): > “Comfortable?? With this idiot?? My foot...”
Crew nearby chuckles. Sunny coughs to hide a laugh, failing spectacularly.
> Sunny (grinning wide): > “Calm down, Angry Bird. Be cool as ice... like your cold heart.”
Rhea glares. Then mutters louder:
> Rhea: > “You keep talking, I’ll use this cone as a shovel. Right into your ego.”
Still—she sits. Stiff as a ruler. One knee elegantly arched, hands folded like she’s politely perching on a throne of regrets.
🍦 Take One: The Cone of Destiny
> Director: > “Alright, faces close… closer… good. Rhea—tilt toward the cone. Sunny—bring it center. You’ll both bite gently. Lock eyes like there’s no one else in the world.”
They lean in.
The ice cream balances between them, two spoons outstretched.
Their lips near the cone—eyes lock—
Her lashes flutter.
His smirk falters.
They bite. At the same time.
Their noses almost graze. Their breath mingles. No one blinks.
You could hear a pin drop—until the boom operator drops their mic pack laughing.
> Lighting Assistant: > “That was intense. Like... Shakespeare but with lactose.”
> Director (calling out): > “Hold for lighting fix! Need to soften the reflection off the cone.”
Rhea rises, instinctively moving to step off Sunny’s lap.
> Director (quickly): > “No no! Stay put! We’ll lose the exact framing!”
Rhea freezes mid-lift. Sinks back down.
> Rhea (low hiss): > “I hope your spine enjoys this betrayal.”
> Sunny (grinning): > “Spine’s fine. It’s your icy aura that’s doing the real damage.”
> Rhea (smiling sweetly at the camera): > “Smile, IDIOT. We’re saving the planet with dairy rage.”
Crew's losing it. Two stylists are filming from the makeup bay. One makeup artist mouths, “Just kiss already.”
> Director (scribbling furiously): > “New short film idea: ‘Sundae of Regret.’ They meet over a cone, fall apart over toppings, reunite over lactose intolerance.”
