***Author's Notes: Hi everyone, so before you guys read the story, I did want to give a little introduction. This story is one that I created back when I was in middle school which I'm going back and editing a bit, so some things may be extremely cheesy and like cliché, and the story may even feel familiar at times because I did get a lot of inspiration from a lot of anime's and books that I was watching/reading at the time. But it's one of the stories that I am more proud of, cause. I did actually get to finish it since I tend to start stories and then I like to stop halfway because I lose inspiration, or I don't get a chance to come back to it. Chapter 1: New Life
My name is Alice Kirk. I'm 17, have sky blue eyes, and long midnight black hair. I used to live with my father until he sadly passed away from an accident on one of his business trips almost two months ago. So now, I'm in a car on my way to a close family friend's house, who had agreed to take me in when they heard about my father. I was sad at first, but the way my father's friend explained to me where I would be staying and how much he reminded me of my father, it didn't sound too bad. If I'm honest, the only thing that worries me is his children; a part of me is worried they won't like a strange girl coming in to live with their family. I looked out the window and sighed as I watched the clouds slowly moving,
"The clouds are getting darker. I hope it doesn't rain.", I thought as I rolled down the window. I peeked my head to see a large mansion come into view. It was beautiful, it looked like a Victorian mansion you would see in the movies. Once the car passed the large iron gates, I began to study the mansion. I noticed it had what seemed to be a spray painted target and gunshot markings all over the front wall.

"Hello?!", I yelled after waiting a while. I knocked again and jumped a little when the door opened slowly. I then grabbed my bags and went inside.

"Hello? Is anyone home?" I looked around and noticed a guy with white hair near the window, who was focused on the world outside.

"Umm....... Excuse me, but can you help me?" I asked, trying not to stutter. The guy turned to me, and I could see he was a little stunned when our eyes met. His eyes were wide in surprise. I gasped a bit when I realized his eyes were different colors. His right eye was a crimson red while his left eye was green-blue. I felt like his eyes were piercing through me. I began to back away when I realized I bumped up against the wall. "Please come with me.", Roan said walking away. I made eye contact with Seff, he looked upset as he quickly looked away. So I quickly turned and ran to catch up with Roan.

"No, like she said, she was told to come here.", he said in an annoyed voice.
"Well, well, well." I heard another male voice say. I looked up at the staircase that was in the drawing room, two people were looking down at me. One was a guy who had orange hair with purple eyes. The other was a little girl who had light aqua-blue hair and, like Seff, she had different colored eyes: one was a crimson red and the other was a deep blue. I gasped when I saw the guy with orange hair suddenly right next to me. He then licked his lips,
"Mmmm..... She still smells really sweet, like candy." I blushed a light pink after I heard him say that. I jumped when I felt someone lick my hand. It was the little girl, "She is really sweet."
Roan yelled, "Alec! Yuki! Don't be rude!" The two of them then backed away from me, ashamed.
"So, Nate was right. She was arriving today.", I heard another voice say. I turned to see a guy with silver hair and crimson red eyes walk to Roan.
"So, Nate knew about her.", he asked. I looked at all 5 of them but mainly focused on Seff till he got up angrily.
"What does he have to do with her? I thought we all agreed-", he was then cut off by a voice that yelled,
"Seff!" Seff and I turned to see a guy with blonde hair and deep-ocean blue eyes coming to us.

"Let us formally introduce ourselves, I'm Roan Slater, the oldest son. I'm 20 years old and I'm in charge while our father is away on his business trip." He then pointed to Seff,
"That impolite man you met earlier is Seff, the second oldest. He's 19." Seff closed his eyes and annoyingly said, "You didn't need to add the impolite bit."
Roan then pointed at the blonde-haired and deep-ocean blue-eyed guy and said, "That is Nate Slater, the third oldest. He's 18." Nate bowed, then said,
"It's a pleasure to meet you." Roan then pointed at the silver-haired and red-eyed boy,
"That is Zephyr Slater, the middle son. He's 17." Zephyr looked at me as he licked his lips and chuckled a bit,
"I hope you don't mind me saying, you do look very tasty." Roan then pointed at the orange-haired and purple-eyed boy,
"That is Alec, the second youngest, he's 16, and the youngest out of the 6 of us is Yuki, the little girl. She's 5." I smiled nervously and said,
"It's a pleasure to meet all of you. I'm Alice Kirk." Seff smirked,
"Hmm... So, um, Roan, can I please show her to her room?" Alec then cut in front of Seff,
"No. I'll do it.", said Alec, grabbing my hand. I jumped when Yuki suddenly smacked Alec's hand and pulled me away from him.
"She doesn't like you holding her hand." I backed away near Roan, as we watched as Seff, Alec, and Yuki began to argue. I looked to Nate and Zephyr who were watching the argument as well. "Umm... I don't want you guys to fight over me, umm... plus I better get the rest of my stuff from the car." Just as I began to walk to the door, I felt a sharp pain in my head, which caused me to lose my balance. All 6 of them stared at me as I held my elbow in pain, checking on the cut I now had.
"Oww, my arm.", I thought. I looked up to the group and froze when I noticed all 6 of their eyes were now glowing a light red.
"I-I knew it. You guys are..." My voice began to tremble, as I quickly got up and ran out of the room. Roan shook his head,
"She knows now... We can't let her leave."

"The car. I need to get to it.", I thought as I ran down the hallway.
"Princess? Where are you?" I heard Alec's voice say. I stopped and looked around,
"I-I gotta hide!" I gasped when I felt hands grab me from behind and whispered in my ear,
"Where do you think you're going, Princess?" I screamed and pulled away and continued to run.
"The door." I thought as I ran down the grand staircase.
"Please. Open." I thought as I pulled on the door, but it wouldn't budge.
"Alice! Stop!", Nate yelled, running down the stairs,
"Please don't make this harder than it needs to be." He slowly walked to me and hugged me. I flinched a bit when he hugged me.
"Nate, take her to her room.", I heard Roan say. He nodded. I tried to push him away,
"No! Let me go, please!" Nate sighed and gently threw me over his shoulder,
"I'm sorry, Alice. You can't leave now that you know the secret." I began to cry as I kept trying to get away. He gently placed me on a chair.
"Alice. He needs you. You've got to remember.", Nate said as he gently touched my cheek. I looked into his calming blue eyes and tried to calm down.
"Look, Alice, I need you to help me.", he said in a low voice. I tilted my head, confused at what he was telling me,
"W-What do you mean?" He looked down, then shook his head.
"I'll explain later." I then began to clean the tears from my eyes then gasped when I felt someone touch my cheek again I then realized it was Seff and Nate was no longer in front of me.
"Why are you crying?" Seff asked. I blushed a bright red,
"Seff? How did you--" He cut me off,
"Shhh, just follow me." He gently grabbed my hand and led me to my new bedroom. He then led me to the bed and gently pinned me down to the bed and he began to lick my neck gently.
"I'm sorry, you just smell so good and I can't help but..." I blushed a bright red as he said that.
"S-Seff?" My voice trembled as I said his name.
"Shhhhh! Please just let me." I felt his fangs pierce my neck. I could hear him drinking my blood. He gently ran his fingers through my hair as he drank.
"S-Seff. Stop, p-please, I feel faint." I tried my best not to stutter. He gently took his fangs out of my neck and licked where he bit me. I closed my eyes and blushed a light red. He then gently helped me sit up.
"You alright?", he asked in a calm soothing voice. I nodded as I watched him go to the corner of my room and open a cabinet and get what seemed to be juice.
"Is that a fridge?" I asked weakly. He nodded and passed me the juice. I slowly began to drink it,
"Thank you, Seff." I then looked up only to notice he was gone.
