VILLAN IN HER STORY

I trusted her like people trust the sky to stay above them.

Every morning, she texted me first. Every night, she stayed until my sadness slept before I did. She knew my fears, my secrets, the parts of me I hid from everyone else.

They never saw what happened behind closed chats and late-night calls.

So I left.

As if I abandoned her for no reason.
