The gate that opened was a magnitude 4 gate, luckily, no one died and only the trio were severely injured, Karasu and Nex were quickly moved to the nurse's office while still being unconscious.
Anas was about to fall down, but Rai caught him and put his head on her lap to rest.
"Anas, are you okay?" Rai asked with tears streaming.
"Better now that I see you still being safe and here with me and the others," Anas said with a smile.
"It was all my fault, wasn't it? I should have just surrendered myself to them so that—" Rai was stopped by Anas.
"It was not your fault, it was our decision to help you, you dummy," Anas said.
"Hey Anas, I just want to say something. I know that you were only doing this to help me because of your kindness, but I just want you to know that ever since you saved me that day, I can't help but wonder if I liked you already. Then you brought me to see the kingdom, gave me a bracelet, saved me from nobles, saving my life twice now and training so hard just to protect me, all the things that you did for me made me feel like you are more than a friend to me. What I am trying to say is that I love you!! Will you be my boyfriend?" Rai asked with her face blushing like crazy, this confession also made Anas blush bright red.
"Yes, I will be your boyfriend," Anas said to her as they kissed each other.
"I will protect you no matter what. I will go through hell if it means saving you," Anas said with a smile as he then passed out.
After Anas was also moved to the nurse's office, principal Agnus went to check on all three of them and Rai.
"Oh thank the angels, you are still here and didn't get kidnapped," principal Agnus said with relief.
"And don't worry about the boys, they will recover in a day or two," the nurse said.
"Hey principal Agnus, I have a question, how should I keep a healthy relationship?" Rai said with embarrassment, principal Agnus realized Rai was now dating Anas and she was not really surprised because she actually wanted Anas to be Rai's boyfriend and hopefully, future husband.
Back in the cruelty rings, the towering figure heard about the failure of the eighth finger.
"I should have known it was fucking useless. Sending out amethyst ranked fingers to fight diamond ranked mages was kinda my fault, but I never told them to follow my orders. It's fine, if it and the other fingers can't do it, then I guess I will have to do it myself. Troops, ready up your gear, I have a plan and we are going to destroy the Celestial Star Academy no matter what," the towering figure shouted.
A day after the magnitude 4 gate opened, the trio woke up, when Anas saw Rai, he kissed her on the cheek which made the other two very confused.
"Yeah, after I unlocked a named attack and killed the eighth finger, she confessed to me," Anas said with his face already blushing.
"Well, I think you two are actually the perfect pair," Nex said with Karasu agreeing, this statement made the two lovebirds blush even harder.
"Well, good luck on your relationship," Karasu said with a smile.
"Hey Anas, will you go on a date with me tomorrow?" Rai asked shyly and obviously, Anas accepted.
However, the two other boys secretly decided to spy on them tomorrow during their date to see how well of a couple Anas and Rai make.
That next day, Anas and Rai walked together while holding hands and a few meters behind them, were Karasu and Nex wearing terrible disguises, though Anas was too focused on Rai to notice. The lovebirds went to the shopping district, with Anas's fortune, they can buy basically anything in the market.
The two spies listened in on every conversation, "Hey Anas, this ring looks beautiful," Rai exclaimed.
"Maybe I will buy it for you in the future," Anas replied.
"Oh my gosh, they are so cute together," Nex whispered to Karasu.
"Yeah, I can see why Rai likes Anas, he is just too kind for his own good sometimes," Karasu whispered back.
"Should we buy the ring for them?" Nex asked.
"Nah, we should buy them a wedding gift and plus, we don't even have enough for that ring," Karasu replied.
The two spies kept following the lovebirds until it was almost sunset, the sky became a bright yellow and leaves fell from being pushed by the gusts of wind. The two lovebirds stood in front of the fountain in the middle of the shopping district as they then had a lovely kiss.
