IT'S OCTOBER!!!
Today, I had to go to an after-school assembly for the school play. I had to go with my dad for the assembly, but I saw Khloe and Chris there, at the assembly.
After the assembly, I waved goodbye to Khloe and Chris. But before we could get inside our cars, Chris, Khloe, and I saw Shirtless, doing--you know, why I GAVE him that codename--, traumatizing children by running around the school half naked.
October 2, 2022
Today, before lunch, Paige told me, Dawn, and Alyssa that Shirtless had a crush on "someone".
Alyssa and I automatically assumed that this "mystery girl" was Paige herself.
But Paige told me that this secret was too "big" to write in our journals.
Journals. Journals. JOURNALS.
As in, NOT diaries. (This isn't a journal, right?)
So here I am, writing in my diary at 8:56 PM. So yeah, Alyssa and I think that Shirtless' "mystery girl" was Paige.
In clubs, Khloe, Alyssa, Chris, and I, were learning Chinese Caligraphy, but instead of actually learning how to write in Chinese, we just split off in groups, and grind Ink, using something called a "grinding stone".
Anyways, Chris and I had to share the ink and paper. While everyone else was grinding ink, Chris flooded the ink stone with water.
It got so WeT, and Chris said something about the ink grinding being "Wet in the Crack" (what the hecky).
October 3, Friday
In Mrs. C's class, right before we were dismissed, we were playing with our teacher's beach ball. Exciting, right?
But, some random kid said, "Every time the ball touches the floor, we all yell 'GIGACHAD'!"
So, we did.
Then, I had the GENIUS idea to stand up on my chair, while everyone else was yelling "GIGACHAD".
Then, Mrs. C was like, "Get down, Coral!" but, the boys in the back yelling "GIGACHAD" were so loud, it was easy to pretend I didn't hear Mrs. C.
So, we repeated that, like 69 times.
October 6
Hey diary, I don't have any tea today, but I do have something to think about.
These past few days, Chris has been hanging out with Avery, from Mrs. L's class.
Today, he even kept asking where Avery was, and acting as dry as the Sahara desert around Alyssa and me.
Chris has never told Avery to "be someone else", while they tell each other EVERYTHING. Which made me think:Damn. I wish I had a best friend who'd always be excited to see me, like that.
Sure, I had always seen friendships and friend groups, EVERYWHERE, but something about how Chris treated Avery made me feel...Well, I don't know what it's called, but it's that feeling where you feel jealous, but excited at the same time. Like someone lit a fire under your ass (???).
Something about how Chris treated Avery made me wonder, if I was nicer, more sensitive, extroverted, and special, I would be a better friend, and maybe people would treat me differently.
And I do have a best friend, Esmeralda, but I know she'll probably change, because of her new boyfriend, Jake. I mean, by the way Esmeralda describes him, Jake seems like a guy who'll make her happy, but I guess Esmeralda acts like she values Jake's opinions and values, more than her own. I remember once, when she said that Dawn should go "jump off a building". She said, afterwards, that it was supposed to be a joke, but now, i'm not so sure.
Anyways, I wish I had a friend who would always listen to my stories, at my house, and at my school. And I know the Esmeralda I knew from five years ago won't come back any time soon.
So until Esmeralda starts actually listening to my venting, (or maybe forever) I'll now refer to this diary as my next best friend, Lucy.

Hi, Lucy,
My dumbass water bottle leaked TWICE today! Once in the classroom, and once now, in the After-school program.
But, that water leak turned into a STREAM, while Chris and I watched the stream flow into Jerry O.'s PANTS.

LUCY!!!
The CRAZIEST thing happened at school today.
At lunch, Monkey had a "wedding" with the new girl, Olive.
EVERYONE on campus was crowding Monkey, even the fourth graders!
Chris was asking what was going on, and all of the kids were just on one section of the blacktop. Though, I kind of felt bad, because I heard that Monkey CRIED, and that the yard teacher had to become his personal bodyguard. And I also felt bad for Olive, because something so crazy happened to her, and it's only OCTOBER.
I guess school isn't that boring, after all.
October 10

In after school, I saw Dawn getting pulled over by Mrs. C, our DAY teacher.
When Dawn came back, she seemed upset.
"What did Mrs. C ask you about?" I go up to Dawn.
"Oh, just about me joining a club for people who suck at making friends," Dawn responded.
"Well, who's in the club?" I ask.
Dawn thought for a second. "Mosquito (ew), Alarm Clock (obviously), and Cop (um-)"
But Dawn told me that she didn't want to be in a club for people who couldn't make friends for shit. She had many plans, and being everyone's friend just wasn't one of them.
"...Besides, I already have you and Alyssa." She concludes.
October 14

Hi, it's Khloe.
Today, I saw Mosquito and Alarm Clock TOUCHING each other. Mosquito was stroking his back, and touching his NINI PANINI. Then he started aggressively making these "noises", when Alarm Clock just hovers a FINGER over his bum-bum.
Then, Monkey was shouting, "I SAY 'GIGA', YOU SAY 'CHAD'!" It was SOOOO cringy. The fact that everyone except me and Coral was chanting-actually, not chanting--SCREAMING it, gave me secondhand embarrassment.

So last year, Karen wrote a diss track about Chris which was DISGUSTING. So, Chris sent the rap to Mrs. C and got Karen in trouble. Then, the principal called Karen’s mom.
Now, Karen wrote a little "note" for Chris on the mirror, with her own LIPSTICK:
"Revenge, dumbass"
But, in the girls' restroom, Chris wouldn't be able to see that message???
Alyssa thought the "revenge" message was for her, because Karen thought that Alyssa was the one who sent the diss track to Chris.
October 23

Today, Khloe and I are in after-school right now.
During snack, the 4th and 5th grade boys were trying to LIFT the bleachers.
Then, Rooster started to unnecessarily started to SCREAM his ass off.
Rooster is the whole reason why aliens are skipping our planet. Like, even if aliens every do change their mind and come to Earth, they'll take one look at Rooster and turn the spaceship around.
October 28
Hi, Lucy, what a day it's been.
In class, I showed Chris an old digital camera that I had. It was pink, with a fairy near the lens. The most important part about my camera, was the fact that it's broken. But, that's Chris for you. I knew he liked to tinker with old technology, so I gave the ugly, broken, pink camera to Chris to work with.
In the after-school program, Mosquito said to Chris, that Mosquito had "hired someone" to look in my diary.
He also told Ms. Baby that Alyssa and I wrote "bad things" about him and Alarm Clock. But first of all, he SHOULDN'T have been looking in MY personal stuff, in the first place.
Mosquito wanted to know what me Alyssa and Khloe think of them! But why does he even give a shit about what I think?!
Luckily, Chris was on our side. He said that diaries were a safe place where people could express whatever the hell they want. For people to express their emotions when they feel like no one would listen to what they have to say.
Which is why I'm telling this to you, Lucy :)
