Liana has been waiting her entire life for the chance to get close enough to the King to murder him. She wants revenge for her mother's death. For her country. By traveling to the Capital and away from her father, she will be entering into a contest to become the coward prince's bride. But things get more complicated as she travels into the politics of court. She never thought there was a possibility of falling for the prince. Or that the King would be able to control everyone around her. Will she make it out unharmed or dead?

The idea for this story came about 5 years ago. At the time, I was completely obsessed with gods and goddesses and decided to try my hand at creating my own universe. This was the first novel I was determined to finish and now I'm back for the third draft.
