Tic toc. Tic toc

It seems like . . . everything's in slow motion. I was standing at the sea of people bumping at my shoulders, some telling me to get the fuck out of their ways, some are too focused on their life to even spare me a glance.

Tic toc. Tic toc.

I envy them, for they look busy; there's something that keeps them going. While I am just here drifting, drifting, and drifting more. They are too caught up in their own world, their time so fast they have to chase it. But then there's me. My world's just. . . stationary.

But then I see him just at the other side of the street waiting, waiting and waiting more.

Waiting for me. Smiling.

Just like that, everything isn't in slow motion anymore.
