I leaned into your chest as we sat on the couch, hearing your heartbeat. You look down at me. "You know I love you, right?" You smile, and move me off your chest playfully. You and I both know what I mean, even if everyone else keeps misunderstanding. Sherlock comes on and we shush each other, sing dramatically to the music, and start up our individual running commentaries. We've been doing this for years, and came prepared with everything from sodas to popcorn to sweets. When I say, "I love this part," you smile at me and say "I know, you nerd.
