In the midst of her agony, the butler swept into the room with haste, throwing open the doors and rushing to her side.
"Thea," he said gently, a kind hand on her shoulder, "you have a visitor waiting in the parlor."

With an inkling of hope, her head lifted to meet his eyes, and she saw the kidness-

Oh, wait. I really should edit it. It's only the first draft, after all. There's bound to be a whole lot of mistakes and grammatical errors and typos. And it's...only like 2,000 words long! I could have sworn it had at least 5,000. I've been working on it for like 2 hours now, and this is all I've got?
Ugh, and I've been staring at the same words over and over again this whole time...I'm tired of looking at it. The longer I do, the more I'll hate it.
Dammit, I'm gonna have to write this chapter another two times just to get a final draft? Ugh, that's way too much work.

Now that I think about it, I've got a lot of chapters I'm supposed to go back and edit later...huh.
