It all started with that damn gate. I walked through that gate almost every day of my life. What was on the other side of it is never meant to be seen by human eyes. For centuries that gate has been about the only barrier where werewolves had any privacy apart from the human world.
Humans had taken over every piece of land on this earth. Behind that gate stood the one place where werewolves could live in peace. We had acres upon acres of land behind that gate. I was half werewolf so I would only be allowed to be there when I wasn't at a human school. I turned on the eve of my 18th birthday. This would be the age I met my mate. I met my mate a day later and she was half werewolf just like me. I ran up to her and did what any smart wolf would do once they met there mate. I marked her. She was now mine. She returned my mark with one of her own and the bond was forever sealed.
The day I met her was also the day the vampires revealed themselves and took the human world captive. I dragged my mate to the gate where we would be safe. Just as she was going through the gate a vampire stole her out of my grip. He drank every ounce of blood she had out of her body. Luckily our blood was toxic to Vampires, so after he was done with his hunger spree on my mate he died. I never got to be with my mate and I crossed the gate to the human half of the world. Well Vampire Now. I have trained everyday and Since that day I have become a vampire assassin.
This was 50 years ago. I now run an organization of vampire assassins. We are taking down these blood suckers one by one until they are eradicated. Until they feel the same pain my mate felt this will be my life's goal.
