櫻桃說：「沒有上帝也活不下去。」

作為牧師的兒子，崔巧明當然不同意。他以為櫻桃如此憤世嫉俗，是因為看到人世間的陰暗面。他想告訴她，身邊其實還有美好、值得信賴的東西存在。

但他發現自己錯了。自從走進櫻桃的世界，看到她所看到的東西之後，他逐漸相信，世間的黑陰面其實是壓倒性的。

「你不知道誰對你撒謊，不曉得該相信誰好。」櫻桃說：「你只要跟我一樣，乾脆誰也不相信便可以了。只有自己才不會欺騙自己。」

雖說日光之下無新事，以前人們經歷過的苦難，將來也會繼續有人經歷。但當信念崩潰的時候，我們該怎樣繼續過往後的人生？
