Real Friends - Chapter one

I'm not normal, but who really is? I left Young-root high school, because of my bullies in my freshman high-school. Yeah I have survived them for six years, but I wanted to have a normal high school life no more bruises, no more insults, no more disrespect plus I deserve it. Well it didn't go like I planned it. No one wants to be my friend because my social status is low and they don't want to lower their by being with me. I don't blame them who wants to be a friend with a girl who had been bullied so many years,but I didn't care it is better having no friends than having bruises and insults. Life was just simple more like nothing. I wake up, go to school, learn and come back home.

I am good liar and pretender so, I told my dad that I don't fit in that school that the kids are annoying and I'm getting in fights. Even if that was not enough reason for my dad he didn't want to push me so, he simply agreed.

But today is different. My school is closed because of some illegal issues so, my dad made me transfer to Young-root again. He told me he didn't wanna hear my stupid "I don't fit in" reasons.

I wore my simple outfit jeans and black hoodie and held up my long chocolate hair in ponytail. I held my bag on one shoulder and started to leave the house.

I was walking to my locker when I bumped into someone. After I stumbled a little I was able to stand up properly. Well, here we go I shouldn't have looked on the floor when I was walking. I gave myself to god knows who he is. I try to hide my head in my hoodie looking at the floor.

The guy who was passing by us who wares a thick eye glass studied us for a second and passed. I am so stupid for thinking he was going to save me or something. Zac is the king of every single girl and boy in this school. No one has ever tried to mess with him or tell him to stop when he is messing around innocent peoples. Actually they enjoy watching him bully people like me. Maybe he didn't see this guy. If he did, I'm 100% sure he would make him pee in himself.

Well tried to walk. He putted his foot on my way and I fell to the ground. I tried to catch my glass but I was late. Oh no, I hope it's not broken my dad will kill me.

He took my back-bag and unzipped it. "You are talking too much. I don't know what you got or did your mom taught you this?" he said, throwing my pen then my pencil and then my book. I tried to stand up but fell again. Kids are laughing and whispering enjoying the scene. "Wait, you don't have one awww" he pretended to be sad pulling down his lower lip. I would be mad or hurt when he talks about my mom, but now it's casual. Not only him, people make a reason why she left me. Some of them say that my father cheated on her so she left us not caring about me. Some of them say that I am not even his child and he got me left in his door. The funny one is she didn't expect to have such an ugly child so she left. Yeah it hurts not having a mom especially when people make jokes about it, but you will get used to it.

"Hey, you okay?" I heard a voice after seconds he left. They are not probably talking to me so, I move my hand from my face and try to stand up. "Here take my hand" someone said with monotone voice. I manage to look at him. Oh babe you can't fool me I'm smarter than what I look. I know exactly what he will do. He offers me a hand and when I accept it he will let go so that ,I can be hurt more than I am now. I've failed for this thing so many times. I ignored the hand and manage to stand up. People were walking on all of my stuffs or pushing it by their legs.

I need to go faster and get the hell out of this school before I get another insults. "Summer" I heard a high pitch voice that made me turn my head. Oh no she is Veronica, the meanest girl in the school with her long pink hair. She is popular. All guys in the school will do anything to be with her. Girls will cut their hair if she did, thinking it's fashion.

I turned my face on my way acting like I didn't see her. She is probably going to make me do her assignment or homework. I have so many things to do than doing her homework so I run, but suddenly I slapped myself in someone's locker. What is my problem today! It's the second time when I fell to the ground. I am sure if this happens again even the floor will know who I am. It's not like I'm new for it. It was holding me when I fell before three years I'm sure I'll be remembered.

I think the locker hurt me. I'm feeling pain in my head. It's new. "Geez girl are you okay?" the owner manage to say between his laughter. Using all the power I have I stood up. "Oh, you are bleeding I-" he pretended like he is shocked, I had enough for my first day. First Zac then some stranger after that the girls and now this! This is not fair. I'm tired I'll do what I have to and I'll see what will happen. I slapped him. The place got quite after few gasps. Some of them take their phone and start recording , probably the death of me.

"I had enough" I shouted, throwing my hand up and then down. "It's my first day and you are already treating me like shit that doesn't have a value. I am not saying like me, but just leave me alone and let me live my life can-" I paused when I saw the guy who offered me a hand in the morning. Yeah, he is definitely a bully. He failed in the morning now this is supposed to be "No matter what I will get you." "Do you guys even know me? yeah, you probably heard stories or stupid pranks those idiots did to me." I shouted, pointing my hand to left and right to point at the students. "But that doesn't give you a right to bully me okay?!" I stare at them waiting them to kick me or something, but they look confused and shocked. I sighed "Whatever, me yelling doesn't have a point except making me more angry."

I didn't think I will be out of that school alive. If they were Zac, Bryce or my other bullies, they would kick my ass off till I bleed or slap me at the locker again and again. Maybe they are more dangerous than them. God knows what will happen to me tomorrow. I wished to take back what I did and said as soon as I left the school. Did I slap the new popular guy in our school or just a random person? If he is popular I will be dead. I must have forgotten what I should and shouldn't do with my bullies when I left the school. Never fight or talk back unless you want to have a broken arms and bruises all over your body. If they ask you to do their assignment you will do. Even if that's not fair not a single person care for you so, just survive your high-school and it will be over.

When I got home I tried to unlock the door, but it was already unlocked. Oh no, this can't be happening! They should have a better thing to do than this. I took of my shoe and held it if it helps me to protect myself.

At least I can laugh and be happy when I come home.
