Marc was walking back and forth in his office, pondering what had just happened. That man, that jerk, had just threatened him! No, he wasn't going to stand for this. "Hey!" Marc yelled at the young man. The man turned around. "What? Can't you see I have places to be?" Marc walked up to him and looked him in the eyes. The man had scarlet red hair, and intimidating eyes. "Do you know who you just threatened?" Marc said with a hint of rage. "Of course, you're Marc, smartest force in the Scientific planes." The man said matter of factly, like he was in charge. "Wha- how? You know what? Nevermind, who are you and how do you know that?" Marc said in a panicked voice. How did he know all that? Must be a detective or something to know all that. "That's none of your business unless you meet the rest, so for now, that's classified." The man said in a sassy tone. "Now come on, wouldn't want to be late." "Late to what?" Marc said, suspecting something was wrong. "Oh, just a meeting, thought you'd be on top of that. You hadn't come to a single one, so the others sent me to fetch you." The man said. "Course, you refused unless you knew everything. But hey, that's what the meetings for." "Fine, I'll come with you, just tell me your name." Marc stated. He'd trust him if he had a name to put to the face. "Oh, that. Well, you can just call me, um, Phineas." Marc grew suspicious of Phineas. "Ok, let's go then. How late am I?" "Oh," Phineas said, "If we hurry, we'll be around an hour late. Let's go."

On their way to the meeting, Marc was keeping an eye on Phineas. He assumed they all carried a special object specific to their field, so he spoke up. "So, um, do you carry anything of significance?" Phineas didn't answer, but he did respond, "C'mon slow poke, stop talking. Buddy's been waiting centuries to meet you." Wow. The others sound really shallow. If they just wait out their days in hopes of meeting him.. Yeah, kinda pointless up until now. He barely even knew what the other forces are. "We're here." Phineas said. When he said that it startled Marc. "Oh! Um, ok, lead the way, and introduce them. Tell me their fields too." Marc explained. "By the way, what's your field?" Phineas halted. "It's- it's none of your- oh fine, I control physics, relativity, and stuff like that." And with that, Phineas led Marc inside.
