人們總是不發現自己所做的惡行，並不斷重覆犯錯；可能是非法的事情，可能是不道德的事情。人們做錯事後不知反省，更四處張揚。惡人得不到懲罰，單純的無知者卻一個個被傷害，甚至丟失了生命。雖然人無完人，但絕不能借口本性驅使而胡作非為。希望透過這本短篇小說集，人們能多少認識到自身的罪惡，戰勝人性本惡。
