The campers were afraid.
Two of the campers were dead.
One of them called the Sheriff's Department.
'My God!', Martin Christy, the 45 year old owner, said.
A camper sang: 'Hang your head, Tom Dooley! You're going to die!'.
And the sound of thunder boomed in the night sky, and the death curse at Camp Crystal Lake, was born.
