When I come to, Bill is standing over me.
“You didn’t die? Why have you stayed on Earth? Bill, where’s my mom?”
“No, I didn't die. I stayed on Earth to feed mind-control burgers to the brainless Earthlings. Your mother is preparing the mind-control device. And don’t call me Bill. You know full well that my name is Galaxy. Would you like to know why I continue to hold you here?”
“Yeah.”
“I do not appreciate the son of my worst enemy dating my only daughter. It does not make me very agreeable. So, instead of merely forbidding you to court her, I shall kill you.”
“Your worst enemy?”
“Your father, Comet. He took everything from me. My job, my business, everything! I founded SSAUE! Your mother is a smart one. She knew Comet planted a bomb in the engines. She faked the explosion and slammed us into Antarctica, where we posed as lost scientists. We were shipped to New York on the first plane out of there.” He sighs.
“She will be sad to know that I have killed you… unless… unless I sic the mind-controlled humans on you! Then, I will console your mother. She will thank me for all the hard work I have done for her and she will marry me like I wanted to before that… that… Scallonian scum stole her! Then I shall steal my daughter back and we shall rule the world as one big, happy family!”
“That’s your master plan? I was expecting something a little more gory. Like, with nuclear warheads, decapitations, dipping people into vats of boiling oil, you know, real painful stuff. The only person you'll be killing is me!”
“Hmmm… that is a problem. I will just have to kill all of your little friends, too. And for you,” he leans over me with a scowl more terrifying than anything I’ve ever seen, “And for you, I shall simply torture you to death. Yes, that’s it, torture. The look on your face will be priceless!” And with a horrifying cackle, he slams the door, leaving me in complete darkness.

“Think, Code Black, think! Where would Meteor go?”
“Uh, Asteroid? We already know where he went. He left to get the recipe for you. He went to Burger Bi...”
“MICHAEL! Don’t tell me that! You don’t know that! He couldn’t have gone there! You don’t know what Bill said.” I bury my head in my hands and start crying. “He can’t be there. He can’t.”
“Look, Asteroid. He’s there and there’s nothing you can do about it. If you don’t accept that, you will never see him again.” My head whips around to face him, rage emblazoned on my tearstained features, fists clenched at my sides.
“I KNOW THAT! I MIGHT NEVER SEE HIM AGAIN ANYWAY!” I stifle a sob. “Bill said, and I quote, ‘And if you come back, you will never see the light of day again!’ That’s why I won’t accept it!” My fierce anger turns to grief and I run out of the room, faster and faster until my boots start flying. I pass the girls dorm, the leisure room, and the kitchen. I don’t stop until I reach Meteor’s room. I fling myself onto his bed, clutch his pillow, and cry for hours. “Oh, Meteor. Please come home.”122Please respect copyright.PENANAXaUQ5HQLGH
