Well! I always hate having to write a profile. I guess it's just information about me, but I never really put that much thought into myself...if that makes sense.

Well! I always hate having to write a profile. I guess it's just information about me, but I never really put that much thought into myself...if that makes sense.
Anyway, here are my obligatory informative points:
1) I've been writing for lots of years. I'm too lazy to math. Since I was six...so almost twenty years. There.
2) I'm from Maine.
3) I am, indeed, fourth generation Swedish.
Apart from not being easily rankled, I genuinely tend to not socialize if I don't have to, and some would call that the introvert's way. I would call it that, yes, but I would add to the equation anxiety and panic disorders (for me, anyway).
As far as genre goes? I don't really stick to one thing. A meanderer in life, I meander too in writing. I'll take on whatever the story decides it needs, and if I need to adapt, I better well do it if I want to get the character of the piece exact.
My lovely friend J.M. Black recommended this site to me, and that's a huge help. I've been looking for a way to spread my stories--to heck with frustrating magazine rejection, wash, rinse, repeat--and that's a massive reason I love writing so much. It gives me a way to love other people in a context unbearably human: in vulnerability. What's writing but a baring of the soul?
I write because God has filled my veins with ink and made the world my parchment. Life has thrown me some heavy curveballs, one of them being Tourette's Syndrome that was followed by all three categories of complex tics, ADHD, OCD, anxiety, panic, depression, insomnia, and impulsiveness. I say this not to garner any pity; I say it to perhaps shed an ounce of encouragement to any who may be facing odds seeming insurmountable.
Let "can't" be dashed from your vocabulary. You can do anything, my friend. You can do everything.
My blog is here: https://pipesandexpensivefurniture.wordpress.com/ Granted, I haven't written on it for a while, but I plan to get back into the swing so here goes nothin'.
