OK...Honest feedback? Fear(less) was meant to be a chapter book. But as usual, I had the WHOLE thing planned out, then either got busy or got a new idea. It was somewhat inspired by the AMAZING 1996 horror trilogy The Forbidden Game. If you haven't read it, I'd seriously reccomend doing so.
But if I'm going back to how I got the idea, weirdly enough, it came to me in a dream.
@Mia Flame, Yeah, I need to figure out a way to motivate myself to write the ideas I've already gotten.
Also, you can find copies of the trilogy that have all three books in one. I got one of those from my school when they were giving away the forgotten books. That's how I read it in the first place. The books aren't actually that scary, despite being categorized as horror. And there's a lot more to them than the scary parts. The author clearly took a lot of time trying to carve out the moral of the book, and the emotion of it. It's really fun. It's very unique, and it sort of pulls together features from across genres to make it its own thing. There are jokes, lore, and several incredible settings.
There was going to be a 4th book, announced around the 20th anniversary of the books, but for some inexplicable reason, it was cancelled.
